Friends is an American television sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman
which aired on NBC from September 22, 1994 to May 6, 2004.
It follows the lives of six reckless adults living in Manhattan as they indulge in adventures which make their
lives both troublesome
and exciting. The show was a favorite in the 90s and early 2000s, viewers religously watched the show, many of
them would naturally feel emotionally
attached to the characters and even considered them as their real friends.

Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, a fashion enthusiast who
intially works
as a barrister at
Central Perk. Rachel ran away from her fiance at the alter before moving in with her childhood friend, Monica.
Courtney Cox as Monica Geller, the mother of the group and chef,
who is
known for her
perfectionist, bossy,
competitve, and obsessive-compulsive nature.
Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, a free-sprited massuese and a
self-taught
musician. Phoebe
later in the series, agrees to
be the surrogate mother for her long lost brother and his much-older wife.
Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, a struggling actor and food
lover who
later becames famour
for his role on Days of Our Lives as Dr Drake Ramoray. Joey has short-term girlfriends throughout the
series, including
Rachel.
David Schwimmer as Ross Geller, Monica's "geeky" older brother
whose
ex-wife, and mother of
his firs born, is lesbian.
Ross works as a Palaeontologist and has an on-again and off-again relationship with Rachel.
The late Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing, a corporate execute who
is the
son of an erotic
novelist mother and a gay cross dressing Las Vegas star father. Chandler marries Monica and they adopt twins in
the last season
