Video games were invented by a Physicist named William Higinbotham in 1958. Higinbotham created a game similar to tennis that was a hit for nearly two years. I believe Higinbothams skilled "hand eye" coordination with joysticks came too early for his audience, definitely ahead of its time. Now, almost 70 years later, there have been numerous video games created to accomodate various console users all over the world.
