Caribbean cuisine is a fusion of West African,Creole, Amerindian, European, Latin American, Indian/South Asian, North American, Middle Eastern, and Chinese. Caribbean cuisine has been formed by colonialism, slavery and migration over the centuries. Cooking styles and techniques are a fusion of traditional methods and ingenuity. In addition, the Caribbean population has created styles that are unique to the region and celebrated worldwide.
