Stardew Valley is a story about you: a former Joja employee who, wanting to escape the corporate rat race, inherits their grandfather's farm in Pelican Town. As you step out the bus into the small, cozy valley village, you are introduced to your new home: A large plot of untilled soil littered in rocks, fallen trees, and grassy fibers. This old, abandoned farm is in need of a lot of work, but with the help of your fellow townies and a lot of survival burgers you can return your grandfather's old farm into its former glory. You'll quickly realize there's so much more to Pelican Town than its parsnips: Along the way, you can make lifelong friendships, go fishing by the town's ocean, fight through hordes of monsters, find love, and even uncover secrets that transcend the natural into the supernatural.
