A Positive Message About Our Future...

It would be fair to agree that 2020 has been a difficult year for all of us. No doubt it has caused many to wonder where we are heading, what the future holds. We can find the promise that Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) has given us in the book of Jeremiah

“‘For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope—Jer. 29:11, New World Translation.

How will this peaceful future come about? Will Jehovah have anything to do with it? Surprisingly, millions are already praying for the solution.

“You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth—Matt. 6:9, 10, Authorized Version; Douay Version.

This is commonly known as the Lord's Prayer, or model prayer and it speaks of God's Kingdom (or Heavenly Government) How exactly will this government bring peace to such a chaotic world? Will it happen in our lifetime?
