Gilmore Girls is a show located in a storybook town in Connecticut, populated by an eclectic mix of dreamers, artists and common characters. This multi-generational drama about family and friendship centers around Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory. Lorelai owns the lodging, Dragonfly Inn with her best friend and chef Sookie, plus she deals with weekly meals with her eccentric and wealthy parents, Richard and Emily Gilmore (who always have something to say about their daughter's life). After high school, Rory goes off to Yale University. but she frequently returns to visit her mother at Stars Hollow. It was aired for the first time in the year 2000 in WB and tells the story throughout 7 seasons currently available on Netflix.
