One day when I have the time and energy, I will make this beautiful peacock shawl. I'm not really sure when I will wear it, but I'm sure I'll find the right occation once it is done. Just look at those amazing colors! It's increadible to imagine someone has come up with such an out-of-this-world design.
I've tried several patterns from this book. They look really advanced, but the instructions are great. You can choose either the graphic pattern or the written description, depending on what you feel more comfortable with. I've made a ladybug, a dog, a teddy bear, a rainbow and a couple of sheep. The plan was to crochet an entire baby blanket. That might never happen, but that's not really the point. The most important thing is you enjoy yourself in the process.
If you you're a complete beginner, you'll still be able to do most of the granny squares in this book, if you take a few lessons in the crochet school (click button below).
