Commonly referred to as the Little Grand Canyon or the Grand Canyon of Mississippi, Red Bluff is a rapidly eroding area. It features a nearly one mile moderately challenging loop trail that takes an average of 30 minutes to complete. Boasting vivid red and orange hues, this massive formation stands at 400 feet above sea level, creating unforgettable views and an amazing hiking experience.
Red Bluff was created by the natural erosion of the Pearl River, which
still flows today. Hikers can access the river and follow it through the
forest. After working up a sweat on the trail, they also can feel free to
cool off in this refreshing body of water.
