There are many reasons why people love to bake. Research shows that baking can reduce stress, help in emotional regulation, and provide an avenue for social connections. Specifically, creating a sort of ritual or routine for baking eases stress and anxiety.

I try to bake something at least once a week and have found it to be a fun routine to pick out what I want to bake next week and make sure I have all the ingredients available.
