Trying to explain the unexplained has been a part of human culture for as
long as there has been a human culture. Sometimes used as a cautionary
tale, as an allegory for the ultimate good versus evil. Oral tradition,
paintings, drawings, movies, television, books, anime, video games, you
name it, there is a medium that has brought the "other" creature to life...
Err... Unlife? Undead life? ... Well.. You know what I mean. To explain or
caution us against or towards something to help us to ultimately become
better people.

zombies and how they have infected (no pun intended) cultures and modern media sources.
What is interesting and entertaining is the ways that the zombie trope can be used to
terrorize us, make us question ourselves, make us laugh, make us cry, make us angry, and just make us
think. These stories help us to re-evaluate how we identify ourselves and
why and to think about the things that make us all so very similar.
If we take the time to talk about our similarities, how we would
approach silly scenarios, more drastic ones, and ultimately life-changing
ones... why can't we make this a better world for all of us?
