Reasons why you need to adopt one
The Greyhound is a gentle, noble, and sweet-tempered companion with an
independent spirit. For thousands of years these graceful hounds have
been an object of fascination for artists, poets, and kings.
They enjoy short bursts of activity but are also content lounging
indoors. They take ownership of your couch, that's for sure 🛋️. So, if
you enjoy a quiet or active life, this may be the breed for you. Nobles,
gentles, intelligents and low-maintenance.
Unfortunately, many are mistreated in racing kennels and often kept in
small, cramped cages and not given enough exercise. They can often
suffer serious injuries while racing, such as broken bones and torn
muscles, then are ultimately euthanized after they are retired from
racing.
This can be prevented if you adopt one, old or young, sure you'll gain a
trustful companion.
