  • English: The second most widely spoken language in the world.
  • French: Spoken in 25 countries and in Canada, useful for Canadians intrested in working at a federal level.
  • German: Estimated to be spoken by 95 million native speakers worldwide. The German language gives you access to the biggest economy in the European Union.
  • Mandarin: Currently the most widley spoken language in the world, and is an important asset for anyone who wants to work in tourisim or buisness.
  • Japanese: The language of one of the worlds greatest economic giants.
  • American Sign Language: A visial language used by the deaf and hard of hearing, can also be used with young children and pets.
  • Punjabi: There are more than 100 million punjabi speakers worldwide, on the Canadan west coast it is growing in popularity.
  • Russian: One of 6 official languages of the UN
  • Spanish: The official language of 20 countries in central and south america and is spoken by 400 million people worldwide.
  • Hindi: One of the two official languages of the Indian government.
  • Swahili: This Bantu language is nativley spoken by aomewhere between 2 million and 150 million people.
  • Michif: A blend of Cree and French created by the Metis people of Canada and the US.
  • Halq'emeylem: Fluently spoken by only one person, online classes have been made to bring back this dying Sto:lo language.
  • Dutch: A western Germanic language spoken by 24 million people nativley and 5 million as a second language.
  • Cree: Spoken by 117,000 people across Canada and is the most widely spoken Indigenous language in Canada.
  • Arabic: One of the 6 official languages of the UN and spoken by 422 million people in the Arab world making it the fifth most spoken in the world.
  • Hebrew: The most widely spoken language of Israel.
  • Liki: An endangered language with 5-11 speakers remaining in 2007 in the papua region islands. Numbers are likely to drop.
  • Dothraki: A fictional language used in George R.R. Martins book series 'A Song of Ice and Fire'. It has been learned by actors in the TV show 'Game of Thrones', and fans alike.
