There are 282 Munros in total, the tallest is Ben Nevis at 1,345 m and the smallest is Ben Vane at only 915 m.
Munros vary in difficulty, as height, gradient of climb and terrain are often drastically different between each one.

Once you have climbed one, you are sure to get addicted. The adrenalin and sense of accomplishment is hard to beat, coupled with the often breath-taking views from the summit.

Munro Bagging =
The act of reaching the summit of a Munro, once this is done you can class it as "bagged" and tick it off your list.
Prime bagging time for the amateur hiker is said to be between August and October.
