MtAssiniboine

The majestic Mount Assiniboine Park (pictured above) is located on the border of British Columbia and Alberta, making it part of both provinces. It's often referred to as the "Matterhorn of the Rockies" due to its distinctive dome shape. Mount Assiniboine is primarily accessed by hiking trails. There are several routes leading to the area, with each route providing different levels of difficulty for hikers and backpackers.

Banff National Park (pictured below) is Canada's oldest national park, located in the province of Alberta. It encompasses stunning mountain scenery, glaciers, forests, and abundant wildlife. The park offers various outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and wildlife watching.

The Lake Agnes Tea House trail is a popular trail in Banff National Park. The trail starts near Lake Louise and takes you to the charming Lake Agnes Tea House. The hike is approximately 3.5 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) and involves a moderate ascent. Hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views of Lake Louise, Lake Agnes, and a beautiful spot to enjoy a cup of tea and homemade treats.

Hikers wanting to continue to the summit of Little Beehive or Big Beehive will find a junction at Lake Agnes. The summit of Little Beehive offers stunning panoramic views of Lake Louise and the surrounding mountains, while the summit of Big Beehive offers stunning vistas of the iconic turquoise lakes and Chateau Lake Louise.
