Mount Ranier is an active stratovolcano located in Washington. It is about 59 miles south east of Seattle and offers many activities for nature lovers. With over 150 trails, Mount Rainier offers an amazing variety, not just for advanced hikers, but for everyone. The views are spectacular!
Personally, I like to plan a weekend to Rainier. This allows me to spend the night in the park; being far away from light pollution makes the starts so bright. It really leaves you in awe! Then, the following day, I get an early start on the trail and enjoy the solitude of being an early bird.
