My journey with wine started when I was about 9 years old, my dad would drink a very inexpensive wine called "Carlos Rossi" with 3 raw eggs in the morning, not for pleasure but because he said it was good for the blood. At that time, my father was diagnosed with Leukemia and was told he only had a few months to live. I don't know if it was the wine that help or his will to live, but my father lived for 10 more years before passing away. That was the moment I discovered that "Wine" was indeed good for you, in some ways!
In my early 20's I went for the first time to Napa, Ca. and I fell in
love with Moscato wine by Sutter Home. Yes, I know it's a sweet wine,
but I had never tasted anything like it, the only wine I had tasted
was the famous Carlos Rossi red wine and white zinfandel by Beringer
which was the reason why I went to visit Napa and
I fell in Love!
How I choose the wine I want to drink? For instance; when it's hot, I like a good chilled white wine , in the cold evenings, I like a good red wine, when I'm with my friends having fun, I'll have Rosé all day!
