Maas milk or (Sour Milk) is a fermented milk drink that is
quite popular in South Africa. This drink is like a mix between cottage
cheese and plain yougurt. Common names are Inkomazi,
Amasi and Mafi
It can be enjoyed with Uphuthu, which is crumbly mealie meal or it can
be used when baking as a substitute for buttermilk or yougurt. Or you
can enjoy it as is!
