A walk in nature is one of life's simple pleasures. As well as welcome
exercise, it offers up precious gifts and a greater appreciation for the
planet we share. Finding moments to step out of the office and into
nature is important for maintaining perspective. Not only do nature
walks improve our heart and fitness levels, but it has measurable mental
health benefits as well.
A study found that taking group nature walks is associated with
decreasing depression, improved well-being and mental health, and
lower perceived stress.
