Focaccia is a flat leavened oven-baked Italian bread. In some
contemporary places, such as Rome, it is a style of pizza, also called
pizza bianca. Focaccia may be served as a side dish or as sandwich
bread and it may be round, rectangular, or square shape.
When perfectly cooked, it is perfectly crunchy and golden-brown on the
outside and soft, light, and airy on the inside! 😙👌🏽

🌿 Ingredients: 🍃
- 4 cups Strong Bread Flour
- 2 cups Luke Warm Water
- 8 grams Dry Yeast
- 10 grams Course Sea Salt
- 1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Rosemary & Sea Salt to garnish
- 1 Medium size mixing bowl
- 1 Spatual
- 9 x 13" oven proof tray
- Oven

Step 1:
Mix flour, salt, yeast and water in a big mising bowl using a spatula
until combine. Once combined to shape a loose ball, coat with a
tablespoon of olive oil.
Step 2:
Cover the bowl with a damp cloth. Place in the refrigerator for 12 to
24 hours to allow for the dough to slow rise.
Step 3:
Poor 2 tablespoons of oil into a flat oven proof 9x13" tray. Remove
dough from fridge. Gently, pull sides of dough away from the bowl and
fold into the centre to create the gluten like structures. Once a ball
of dough has formed, move the dough into the oiled tray.
Step 4:
Cover dough in tray with a damp cloth and set in a warn place to proof
for 2-4 hours.
Step 5:
Once the dough looks to have flattened but also grown and produced air
bubbles, poke the dough with the tips of your fingers. Use the
remaining olive oil to cover the dough. Garnish with course seasalt
and rosemary.
Step 6:
Bake the focaccia at 190 degrees for 20-30 minutes until underside is
golden brown and crisp.
