Pitching Philosophy
Patience and the drive to improve daily is the first thing to consider when having the goal of becoming an elite level pitcher. The biomechanics of pitching can be very simple to understand but difficult to do. Building a foundation of not only a pitcher but an athlete who understands their body awareness, allows the athlete to become a unique version of themselves as a pitcher. Putting the athlete in the best positions where optimal strength and body control are exposed provides well rounded mechanics. The kinetic chain in pitching begins with movement in your lower half, up through your torso, and eventually released from your upper half and out of ball release. Building a strong base, controllable core, stabalized upper half, and a powerful mindset are huge factors in improving one's ability to pitch. Focusing on outside variables other than just throwing such as nutrition, sleep, strength training, mobility, and hard work will all play a role in becoming an elite level pitcher.
