2020 has been an extremely unique year for everyone. While 2020 had many surprises, it also brought a wave of emotional intensities in our lives. However, it has also opened up a new expansion of self-discoveries, passions, and creativities that was once locked away in a childhood sandbox closet. With time at our hands, we are learning how to connect to all of these complex emotions within us. This in itself isn't an easy task to do. It is extremely difficult, however, it is certainly worth the investment made to oneself, due to the growth and emotional maturity one will learn from themselves through self-development, healing, letting go, and beginning anew. In a way, this shift awakened a sense of childhood innocence that was once forgotten within us all that had not yet been bruised or broken. In my heart of hearts, emotions are like cloud movements and placements. Sometimes you have to put yourself through certain discomfort of acknowledging the deep unexplored, unhealed, unacknowledged parts of yourself to heal and let go of what is holding you bound within yourself. An example of that would be learning how to connect to all of these emotions that weren't incomprehensible. These aspects weren't and hadn't been explored and denied of self by myself to acknowledge.

As a child, I was enchanted by the sky and the clouds above me. As a 1st generation immigrant child throughout adulthood, it was told that being an adult is about learning how to be alone and embracing it. This concept itself is semi-true, but can also be extremely detrimental to someone who grew up isolated, bullied, abused, or made to feel as if their existence was not worthwhile and a burden in this world. These are things that one comes to recognize and understand as an adult that what they experienced was trauma and sins that were perpetuated towards them for uncomprehensible reasons. Thus, reaching a place and time where one can accept their past experiences, can be an extraneous painful healing journey to freedom within oneself; as this is the peeling away of one's layers that were undesirable at a certain point in time of their existence. Speaking from my heart to yours, emotions are like cloud movements and placements. And sometimes you have to put yourself through certain discomfort of acknowledging the deep unexplored, unhealed, unacknowledged parts of ourselves to heal and let go of what is holding you bound within yourself. An example of that currently would be learning how to connect to all of these emotions that I was unable to comprehend nor name. These were aspects of that weren't and hadn't been explored and denied of self by myself to acknowledge.
