The Yale Young African Scholars Program (YYAS) is a rigorous academic and enrichment programme created for high school
students from Africa who aspire to pursue higher education and aspire to bring change as young leaders on the
continent.Participants will get the chance to sharpen their academic abilities, get advice on choosing a major and a
profession,
and join a network of young leaders from different African nations. Students who successfully finish the programme will
be paired with mentors who will help them with the application process for universities.Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) is a proud member of the HALI Access
