The Kusun Ensemble is an extraordinary group of musicians and dancers based in Ghana, West Africa. The band is considered as one of Ghana's most innovative and powerful music and dance ensemble and have created innovative rhythms by blending the authentic sounds of traditional instruments with the exuberance of highlife music. They have been hosted by cultural festivals around the globe like The Florida Folk Festival, Chicago World music Festival,The Lotus Music Festival etc. Many of the members have also been teaching drrumming and dance at the Kusun Study Center in Accra. This center was built to promote the international arts of Ghana and to teach both the local people and international students about Ghanaian music and culture.
