Germanys largest city and also capital has a lot to offer. We all know
"Brandenburger Tor" or "Fernsehturm". Are you planning a short trip and do
not know where to start? Would you like to know where the locals enjoy
their Berlin life or are you just tired of that "typical" tourist stuff?
Are you a real foodie? Then this guide is just right for you.

5 Elephants
Where: Alte Schönhauser Str. 14, U-Bahnhof Weinmeisterstraße - best
cheesecake and high quality coffee. There is also one at Reichenberger
Straße 101, which is also near Maybachufer.
Where: Oranienstraße 34, U-Bahnhof Kottbusser Tor Go there in the
evening around 7pm, not later than 8pm, otherwise it’s too crowded and
you won’t find a spot to sit.
Club der Visionäre
Where: Am Fluggraben, U-Bahnhof Schlesisches Tor - It also turns into a
little club at night.
Klunkerkranich
Where: U-Bahnhof Rathaus Neukölln - It’s on the roof of Neukölln
Acarden. You have to go in there and take the elevator.
Ratzeputz
Where: Weserstraße 182, U-Bahnhof Rathaus Neukölln or U-Bahnhof
Hermannplatz - The shot the bar is named after is a must. The bars
“TiER” and “Ä” are close to it.
Nice places to chill
Mauerpark
Where: You can step out at U-Bahnhof Eberswalderstraße or Bernauerstraße
(10- 15min walking)
Maybachufer
Where: Step out at U-Bahnhof Schönleinstraße and walk on Kottbusser Damm
till the crossing. To the right you find the street called Maybachufer.
I recommend walking on the other side (Paul-Lincke-Ufer). You can get a
drink at Pavillon am Ufer and sit on the canal. In this area are also
nice cafes/bars/restaurants
Sitting at the Spree
Where: You can walk from U-Bahnhof Schlesisches Tor or U-Bahnhof
Warschauer Straße to Mühlenstraße. There is also the East-Side-Gallery.
Watching the sunset at Teufelsberg
Where: From S-Bahnhof Grunewald it is a 30 minute walk.
