115g unsalted butter

130g all purpose flour
225g dark baking chocolate
4 eggs
2 tsps vanilla
extract
pinch of salt
Tree nuts (optional)
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Melt the chocolate and the butter. You can use the microwave or by filling a small saucepan about a quarter full with hot water, then sit the bowl on top so it rests on the rim of the pan, not touching the water. Put over a low heat until the butter and chocolate have melted, stirring occasionally to mix them.
Add the sugar and mix well.
Break and mix the eggs and the vanilla extract. Then add it to the mixture.
Add the salt to the flour and incorporte it to the mixture. Fold everything together until you get a smooth batter. Add and mix the nuts if having.
Prepare the tin with some unsalted butter and gently ease the mixture into the corners of the tin and paddle the spatula from side to side across the top to level it.
Bake for 30 minutes until the top is crinkly. After the 30 minutes you can introduce a knife to check how moistured is in the middle.
Let it cool and enjoy!
