Why is it an important topic?
Women in STEM" refers to women who work or are involved in fields related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These fields have historically been male-dominated, and the term is often used in discussions about gender diversity and equality in STEM industries. The term "Women in STEM" is often used to address the underrepresentation of women in these fields and to advocate for gender diversity and inclusivity in STEM professions. Many organizations and initiatives focus on encouraging and supporting women and girls to pursue STEM education and careers, as well as addressing the various challenges they may face in male-dominated environments. The goal is to create a more equitable and inclusive STEM community where women have equal opportunities and representation.
