Cabin Rentals in the Chippewa National Forest

On Beautiful Little Island Lake, Since 1941

In 1941, Harry and Frances Barcus, early settlers in the Chippewa National Forest, along with their four sons,
Douglas, Robert, Glen and Wayne, carved out pristine cabin sites along the shores of Little Island Lake.
They built cabins from the materials available on the land.
Now, nearly 100 years later, the cabins remain. On this land. Still pristine.
