pour over coffeemaker

Stop settling for disappointing and lackluster homebrewed coffee from your old drip coffee maker. You don't need any fancy gadgets or skills to make a cup of coffee at home that really hits the spot.

Pour over coffee, one of the oldest and simplest ways of brewing coffee, will solve all your probelms.

☕ What you'll need:

  1. A pour over coffeemaker
  2. Coffee filter
  3. Your favorite coffee beans
  4. Filtered water
  5. A gooseneck water kettle
  6. Your favorite coffee mug

Brewing instructions:

  1. Fill up your kettle and set it to boil.
  2. Insert your filter into your coffeemaker.
  3. Saturate your filter with the now boiled water and then dump that water out.
  4. Grind the appropriate amount of coffee on a medium setting (Anywhere between a 15:1 to 17:1 coffee to water weight ratio depending on your taste preference and the size of your coffeemaker) and add them to your filter.
  5. Bloom your coffee by pouring just enough water to wet all your grounds while moving the kettle in a circular motion. Wait about 30 seconds before continuing with your next pour.
  6. Make subsequent pours up to about an inch from the lip of the pour over coffeemaker until you get your desired amount of coffee.
  7. Let the water finish dripping through the grounds entirely and remove the filter.
  8. Then serve and enjoy!
