Running a marathon takes a lot of dedication and patience. I remember
running my first one and thinking, "this is really hard!" Eight
marathons later, I feel more motivated than ever to continue this
journey. One of the reasons why I continue to do it, it's because I am
integrating a good training journey. Marathons are all about training.
You have to dedicate time for all the workouts. I run 4 times a week.
Two of those days are for track work outs, one day is for an easy run,
and one day for my long runs. Long runs consist on running about
13-20miles in order to build endurance. It's a lot, and it takes a toll
in your body and also your brain to be that focused. However, I enjoy it
a lot, and it has given me the opportunity to travel to different places
to do it. My next one is in Sacramento this December!
