Sweet & Spiced Full Recipe

Porridge is full of health Benefits, long lasting oat energy, and the option of a varied diet with toppings of your choosing, a dish with the potential of being packed with protein and vitamins. It can be savoury or sweet and is extremely nutricious.

Instructions: One third of fast cooking oats; any brand, two thirds oatmilk in a pot and cook on low heat (it takes around 10 minutes). It's ready when it's fluffy, thick, and excess liquid has been cooked out but not dry.

Toppings: One chopped banana, a few chopped strawberries, a small handfull of blueberries, one level tablespoon of peanut butter, one teaspoon of tahini, cocoa nibs, small pinch of nutmeg, a little bit of cinnamon and some turmeric.

Tip: If you cook the blueberries when you begin to see the porridge boiling, your dish will be purple and it will taste great. Adjust the recipe according to your taste. Add a drop of milk at the end of cooking if the porridge is too dry.
