PERMAnent + agriCULTURE

The Permaculture movement began in Australia in the 1970s. To this day, the practices created by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison are still used globally to create sustainable landscapes that help the land and all living things around it. Permaculture makes use of native plants to amplify local ecosystems and reduce water waste. We can all take part in sustainable landscape practices by converting our home gardens. In her book Practical Permaculture, Jessi Bloom guides the reader through this process. This is just one of the many excellent books on this fascinating topic.
