Board Games
It's the golden age of board games!
Board games are tabletop games that typically use
pieces. These pieces are moved or placed on a pre-marked board (playing
surface) and often include elements of table, card, role-playing, and
miniatures games as well. Modern board games are wonders of design and
narrative, running the gamut from cooperative dice-rolling adventures to
elaborate setups that allow for tense negotiation over resources.
Whether you prefer exploring the ruins of a lost civilization, building
a logistics network in turn-of-the-century England, waging a war to
control a woodland forest, or just building a really nice zoo, there is
something out there for everyone!
