What is Pole Fitness?


Pole fitness is a modern way to excersice and there are many taboos around this sport, maybe you are thinking that is related to stripclubs and yes, it's where all started but nowadays the pole is diverging:

Pole Art/Dance/Exotic
Coreographic, artistic and sensual in case of the Exotic.
Fitness/Sports
Combination of acrobatics, gymnastics and the pole dancing you might recognise from a nightclub.
Para Pole
For different abilities.

Pole fitness is more than a sport, is a lifestyle! whilst you are exercising you are getting more flexible, strong, graceful, improving your confidence and meeting beautiful people that are always wiling to help you with that difficult trick ;)
In this discipline you train your arms, core and to a lesser extent your legs, the strength will gradually increase if you keep on practicing but is important to remember that you should have a balanced diet and if you are training in the gym it will help more. A pole fitness class is composed by a warm-up, conditioning exercises (sit-ups, crunches, squats, etc.), flexibility stretches and the most exciting part of the class: the tricks.
If you are thinking that this type of sport is not for you, maybe you are wrong. In Pole Fitness everyone is welcome! It doesn't matter your gender, age or different capabilities.
