Haitian Pikliz ๐

This bright and fiery Haitian condiment (pronounced "pick-lees") is
traditionally served with meats and fried food to balance rich flavors.
Ingredients
- 3 Scotch bonnet peppers
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- ยฝ cup shredded carrots
- ยผ onion , finely chopped
- ยผ cup peas , frozen
- whole cloves
- ยฝ teaspoon salt
- 5 black peppercorns
- cups distilled
Just marinated all the ingredients in vinegar.
There is no Haitian cook who does not have a jar of pikliz on hand.
