Why cheese is addictive?
🧀

Have you ever had a little hit after eating some cheese

'Cheese Gromit'

The reason why cheese is so addictive is due to this little chemical compound called "Casein".
This is strong stuff as it can trigger your opioid receptors in your brain. (i.e., cause a cheese high).
The opioid receptors in the brain are there to mediate the body's responce to hormones. In turn this
may affect certain transmission in the brain, which affect your sensory perception such as taste, smell etc.
