The capital of Zimbabwe is the gateway to the country’s incredible
wildlife destinations. A city with many towering skyscrapers, it
also has many spots of natural beauty. The Botanical Garden of
Harare has 900 various species of tree and shrubbery to admire and
is a great place to spend a day. Witness some of Zimbabwe's great
craftwork.
Victoria Falls ( Mosi-oa-Tunya, "Thundering Smoke".) It s a
waterfall on the Zambezi River in southern Africa, which provides
habitat for several unique species of plants and animals. On the
Zimbabwe side, the falls lie within the wildlife-rich Victoria Falls
National Park. From a forest path which runs along the edge of the
falls, there are a number of spectacular vantage points, although
prepare to get very wet from the spray.
It is the largest natural reserve in Zimbabwe.The Park hosts over
100 mammal and 400 bird species, including 19 large herbivores and
eight large carnivores. All Zimbabwe's specially protected animals
are to be found in Hwange and it is the only protected area where
gemsbok and brown hyena occur in small numbers.
It is a medieval city in the south-eastern hills of Zimbabwe.It is
thought to have been the capital of a great kingdom during the Late
Iron Age.Construction on the city began in the 9th century and
continued until it was abandoned in the 15th century.
The mighty Zambezi flows into the waters of Lake Kariba, one of the
world’s largest artificial lakes.A wonderful way to experience the
wildlife of Lake Kariba is by setting off on a houseboat or
motorboat.
it contains the highest land in Zimbabwe, with green hills and
perennial rivers.Mount Nyangani, the highest point in Zimbabwe, lies
in the centre of the park and Mutarazi Falls, Zimbabwe's highest
waterfall, is in the south of the park. If you love to hike then
