Self-care is any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health, according to PsychCentral.com.

We can do this for ourselves to improve mood and anxiety, which can be particularly heightened on a Monday night before work.

However, not all activites can be considered self-care. Agnes Wainman explained, self-care is β€œsomething that refuels us, rather than takes from us.”
