The dance of Krishna

Kathak- an Indian classical dance originating from the northern part of Inida. A dance of stroy telling, expressions and beauty. In modern Kathak, one of the aspects of the dance is to show past times of lord Krishna, but it is believed that "Katha-Vachan", the earliest form of Kathak was exclusively based on Krishna's legend. Another aspect of this art form is about smooth hand gestures and rapid footwork which can take years to master. One should also have a basic sense of music and rythm to understand this art better.
