This is one of the first sentences I learned in Chinese. A language that is considered one of the hardest languages to learn. You need to know at least 3,000 characters to be able to read the daily newspaper. However, the language itself has tens of thousands of characters. The written form of Chinese word doesn't indicate its pronunciation, which must be learned separately. And... out of all languages, Chinese has the most similar-sounding words. Once I was told that I would never be fluent. Did I believe? NO! Remember:
