Sound healing is not a new practice. It has been used since ancient
times to heal and soothe. Ancient Asia have used instruments and prayers
to heal. Gregorian monks invented chants called to Solfeggio scale in
the 11th century which was lost for hundreds of years and recently
rediscovered. Today we use binurial beats which put people in a hypnotic
like state that is said to be optimal for healing and relaxation. We use
tuning forks and crystal singing bowls which are a very modern technique
for sound therapy.
