Simply made from durum wheat and water or eggs - depending on the region in Italy the dish originated in. You can boil it, bake it and even fry it.
Enjoy it with just a little bit of butter and lemon, a beautiful meat ragĂș that is simmered down for hours; make it vegetarian, vegan, light, rich, whatever strikes your fancy.
