Swimming is one of the healthiest and most enriching sports. Well, with
it you work the whole body in a dynamic way, to which you can adjust the
rhythm and intensity of the exercise yourself. The 4 basic swimming
Freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly. Each one of them has
a totally different technique and also a varied difficulty. Well, in
some of them more effort is needed.
Freestyle: This is, shall we say, the easiest style
to perform considering the effort. The breaststroke style can be done
by both adults and even people with motor difficulties can do it
without much help. In addition, in the movement technique it does not
have a push as in the rest and its recovery is carried out inside the
water. It's quite relaxing after a hard workout.
Breaststroke: With the Breaststroke style we perform
an action of the arm and leg that alternately propel us to a greater
or lesser extent, always depending on the intensity that we give it.
Although you can regulate your intensity obviously, we need a minimum
of effort because one of the most important parts of this style is to
stay in a straight/laying position horizontally. When we carry out the
swimming movement, while we carry out the stroke on the outside, the
arm inside the water is pushing. So we never stop shooting. The crawl
is the most widespread style because it does not require an excess of
technique but it can be trained hard in the pool, as well as being
quite comfortable.
Backstroke: To do the backstroke well, a minimum of
technique is necessary and it is possibly the most "uncomfortable"
style. Well, it is the only one in which the position is reversed and
requires submerging the head face up in the water. However, it is very
satisfying to learn to backstroke and swim with this style.
Butterfly: This is the most tiring style and it is
not recommended that it be done by people with back problems, since in
butterfly we involve a lot of intensity to do it. In addition to the
fact that a moderate physical condition is necessary to be able to
train it properly. For this reason it is one of the fastest styles
because the strokes cover more space and we use a greater force (we
push with both arms and legs at the same time). Let's say that the
butterfly stroke is the most powerful of all.
