History of Labradors
The breed's history can be traced back to Newfoundland,with a rich maritime heritage. While the exact origins of a Labrador Retriever puppy for sale are not entirely clear, their ancestors were likely a mix of St. John's water dogs, Newfoundlands, and various other local breeds.
The Labrador Retriever popularity grew around the year 1903 for game hunters for their capabilities. Overtime, this breed soon became the most sought after once it was discovered that they posses immense positive qualities. It wasn't until 20th centurary however,that labradors were brought over to the United States, in which more families started to seek out these dogs as pets due to their friendly and versatile nature.

These dogs are now one of the most renown breeds for being one of the most family friendly companions. This is due to their goofball like nature and patience that makes the beloved "Good boys" and "Good girls" in today's view.
