Soundtracks and scores are easily one of my favourite aspects of movies, TV shows or any form of media, including games! Whether it is original scores or a compilation of existing songs, music can tell so much about characters, indicate major turning points and reveal deep subtext within certain scenes. As many, if not all directors, artists and creators have the intent to evoke a response or emotion in an audience with their art, music is a powerful tool to achieve just that. Whether it is amidst a grand battle for rule of the kingdom of Narnia, or to emulate a child's wonder as they enter Diagonalley for the first time, or to highlight an epic moment between dragon and friend, music elevates each scene and makes us feel.
