Synopsis

Brooklyn is a 2015 romantic period drama film directed by John Crowley and written by Nick Hornby. It is loosely based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Colm Tóibín. The story follows young Irish girl Eilis as she navigates her new life in Brooklyn, NY, after moving there on her own in the 1950s.
