Bryndzové halušky (Slovak: ha-loosh-kee) is one of the national dishes in Slovakia. This meal consists of halušky - boiled gnocchi-sized potato dough and bryndza (a soft sheep cheese) mixed with sour cream, usually sprinkled with roasted bacon, and chives or spring onions.
