Dairy Farming:
One of the most profitable and productive in the agricultural methods in the agricultural industry. The
dairy industry is a male dominated industry with 80% of it being practiced
by white men, 18% being black men and 2% being both white and black women.
Dairy farming requires one to be disclipine, hard-working, self-motivated,
and have strong leadership skills. The are two types of system in dairy
farming, the rotary system and herring-bone milking system. The are five
most common breeds in dairy farming-Jersey, Holstein Friesland, Guernsey, American Brown Swiss, and Dairy
Shorthorn.
The main breeds commonly found in dairy farms are the Jersey and
Friesland.
