Okapi | The Ghost of the Forest
Okapis are originally from the Congo and weren't discovered until the
1900s. They live solitary lives in very dense forests, hence the ghost
name.
At first glance, it would be sensible to assume okapis are related to
zebras.
But in fact, Okapis are the
only living relative of the giraffe.
