Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by music. The first instrument
I started to play, back when I was 6 years old, was the flute. However,
my dream had always been to play the guitar and the piano. After flute,
I learned the drums, which became my favorite instrument and then went
to finally learn the guitar. It was a work of resilience to learn the
guitar and it took me more than 5 years to finally consider myself good
at it, even though I am not an expert. Then, I naturally learned the
ukulele through my guitar knowledge and have been trying to figure it
out the piano ever since. Besides being fun, playing instruments have
lots of other benefits, including: learning self-discipline,
strengthening mental capacity,
lowering stress and blood pressure and preventing dementia and
depression.
