The Three Virgin Goddesses

The three virgin goddesses are Hestia, Artemis, and Athena


Hestia 🏡 She is the goddess of hearth, the right ordering of domesticity, the family, the home, and the state. She is the firstborn daughter of the titans Cronus and Rhea, and is the sister of Zeus.

Artemis 🌙 🏹 is the goddess of the hunt and the moon. She is the daughter of Zeus and Leto and her twin brother is (Pheobus) Apollo. She is described as a "lover of woods" and a "wild chaser of mountains". She is also depicted in some stories as fierce and revengeful. Just like her brother, she is an archer.

Athena 🏛 is the goddess of wisdom and battle and is the daughter of Zeus. She is known to have no mother, and sprung out of Zeus' hair fully grown and in full armour. She is known as the protector of civilized life, handicrafts and culture. She is also said to be Zeus' favourite child. Did you know the famous Parthenon was supposed to be a temple dedicated to her?
